Please stand clear of the doors

Today let's explore the travel in a hot summer midday. It's been a long time since I left my room due to the extreme heat but today it was an unavoidable invite because it has already been postponed. 

We all left in the afternoon as we had to reach around 3:30pm. It was a very hot summer day and sun was on full energy. Me and my brother hid under an umbrella and tried to adjust the height which was uneven due to his tall frame. 

After crossing the road and reaching the metro station we went forward to board the metro. As the train moved forward we got seats to sit and had a fun time watching a small child playing around and interacting with us. The the automatic announcement "Please stand clear of the doors" and other repetition was also a reminder that no one listens.

The outside view was very dry with buildings all over. It was a rare sight to see trees which was almost not there. It was very cool inside complete contrast to the atmosphere outside. The wish to continue to travel prolonged due to cold air but unwillingly we dragged ourselves out.

The wind that hit our face was like fire waiting to burn out. The night air was also the same as the day time. The relief I felt after reaching home was so great and I feel so tired after few hours outside.
