Prayer for a lass
I met a lass on the street,
All alone wandering around,
Trying to sell flowers,
From one to another.
All alone lost,
Isolated by the world,
Lost in her own world,
With lonely gloomy eyes.
Alienated by love,
An unknown feeling with no meaning,
The only familiar wish,
To go a day without hunger.
No one to look for her,
No one fof her to lean upon,
Passing each day with grateful smile,
Without any grudge or anger.
Not just her,
But many more like her,
Let one more day pass by,
With them being safely secured.
