A day full of surprises

Today being a Martin Hall Day was very enlightening. Being back to the place where I once lived and called home. The corridors and the rooms remained the same but there were a lot of new faces. 

Apart from old memories coming back, I got introduced to few people, some of them having been seen in college. I was invited by Ambika who has been a very good friend in the past few years. I was later introduced to Riya who initially was shy but soon mingled and we became friends in a short time. The time we all spent together was beautiful talking about various topics and getting to know each other better.

After watching the performances last year I didn't have many expectations but all the programmes were arranged beautifully well. The performances were entertaining by bringing out the comic elements and adding humour. The trip skit was funny and portrayed all the events that happened inside the college for the past year. The music and dance groups were performed very energetically and they maintained the energy till the end. The documentary was amazing with the script, performances and direction, providing a positive stay within the premise.

The day ended with dinner and a long walk home. It was a memorable day with meeting new personalities and getting along well with each other.
