A lunch gathering

Today was a day we as a whole class gathered together at Mekala Ma'am's home. It was a long journey of five years with the teachers and some of my classmates. These two years were also a different experience which broadened my perspective.

After the exams, everyone gathered together to visit Mekala Ma'am. As soon as we reached her place the first thing that caught my attention was the huge fish pool that had varieties of fishes in different colours and sizes. Next to the pool was a honeycomb with lots of bees buzzing around which was a sight I only saw in Kerala. 

As soon as we entered the home ma'am's granddaughter welcomed us enthusiastically and engaged us in her lively excitement. Later we had lunch together talking and being in each other's presence. 

The real fun began after lunch as the music session began. Lakshmi began the first song which was a Tamil song named "Kanmani Anbodu" which was later sung as a chorus, the song is known to everyone. Later slowly everyone sang different songs of different genres. Some voices were the first time to be heard shocking everyone with their melodious voice. Everyone joined in the musical evening encouraging each other and expressing their talents.

As the gathering came to an end it was sad to depart but everyone left the place with lots of memories that would be with them for a very long time.
