Fruit of labour

"For whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."                                                 ( Galatians 6:7)

This is one of the proverbs often spoken by people. The idea of Karma is all interconnected. We shall receive the price of everything that we do in the present.

I would like to connect this verse to a parable from the Bible. There was a man who went to sow seeds. Some seeds fell on the roads where it was eaten by birds. Some seeds fell among the thorns and got crushed before they could fully grow. Some seeds fell on the good ground which led the crop to grow healthy and to flourish.

Through this parable we can see how a person can be ignorant, fruitful for a short duration, get crushed or grow fully. These qualities are usually developed based on personal acceptance.

We often decide to start something new out of interest but before the progress certain situations arise causing us to give up too early. Other times we do stay strong and grow but on  the long run get tired and give up very quickly. There are times when everything is favourable to proceed but the familial and societal pressure pushes them to submission. But despite all these troubles and setback few individuals grow fruitfully. This happens as the result of all the hard work and labour that supports the progress.

In spiritual connotation, it's the faith that is always being tested. Whatever the situation arises we smile and move forward believing 'everything that happens, happens for a reason'.
