Today being Easter is a celebratory moment which is looked forward to every year. The day began with wishes and statues on our gadgets, then it church time. Today was different as I was accompanied by my friend. She has never been to Herber chapel so was excited to be here. She was fascinated by the architecture and the atmosphere of the chapel. The service timing was different than other Sundays, it was because of Easter special service.  There were a lot more crowd than usual Sundays. Different people all in their most prettiest forms were gathered.  The choir sang lot of songs, one of the song is from my favourite list. The song is about hope and perseverance, that despite of everything it is well.  The service ended after a long time followed by breakfast, where everyone gathered and had food together. A good animated work makes me think. It floats beyond the magical realm. Today I would like to talk about"Howl's Moving Castle" which covers a lot of themes covered in magical realism. This story talks about Sophie who is cursed by magic and tries to find a cure with the help of  Howl. As the movie progresses we find Sophie finding her true self by breaking free from the societal norms. Initially, we find Sophie to be timid and dependent but as the movie progresses the transformation within her is transparent . T he movie further talks about the concept of beauty and appearance. Her insecurity due to appearance has been dealt with and when she learns to accept herself her inner beauty reflects externally. A few days back while discussing movies I got a recommendation to watch a Malayalam movie. It's a courtroom drama which has a plot dealing with mystery. After delaying it for a long time I decided to watch the movie "Neru". In my honest opinion, I liked the movie. It did not have any complicated plot line but still made me curious as to how that particular case would be solved. This case deals with the rape of a blind girl which was difficult to prove since she cannot appear as eye witness. There are a few elements in the movie that caught my attention. Firstly, we find the cruelty of humans and the lack of guilt they hold. We need to begin with the defence lawyer. Initially, when I saw the character I thought his harshness or lack of empathy was due to his profession. Colours represent different meanings, even a flower of the same variety would have a different meaning just due to a change in the colour. This novel by Sourabh Mukherjee is set up in Kolkata and solves a murder mystery case.  The 'colour' in the title represents the different shades of people that we meet in the novel. As we come across different characters we find the complexities of their mind. The colour being the symbolic representation of danger and passion provides a foreshadowing of the upcoming plot.  This novel provides various dimensions to the plot providing unexpected turns to the story leading the readers to cultivate various theories of the possible scenarios before the completion of the story. The complexities of the entertainment industry are also portrayed through a character who once was a star but now is overtaken by other younger actors.
